The company states that the CF-U1 offers long battery life based on the latest Intel Atom low power consumption processor technology. Unlike most handhelds, it runs on the full-function Windows XP or Windows Vista operating systems, with 1060 gram weight, and sunlight viewable 5.6in touchscreen provides remote workers with ability to access information and applications in real time. The CF-U1 is optimally equipped for mobile applications, as its MIL-STD-810F certification illustrates. The device can survive falls from up to 120cn. It is also water and dust-resistant in accordance with IP54 and can be used at temperatures ranging from -20°C to +60°C and weighs 1060 grams. The device combines Intel Atom processor technology with a 1.33 megahertz clock frequency, a 16 or 32GB solid state disk and 1GB RAM. 'The Intel Atom processor delivers high performance at dramatically low power while maintaining PC compatibility and enabling the best Internet experience in small devices,' said Anand Chandrasekher, Intel senior vice president and general manager of the company’s Ultra Mobility Group.
