Business and IT outsourcing firm Keane, has announced that it has signed a new three-year, multi-million dollar application outsourcing contract with the Miller Brewing Company, the world's second-largest brewer, in a continuation of their existing deal. The new agreement means that Keane will continue to deliver application management, support, and enhancements to Miller's 182 applications for its five core business groups: sales and marketing, corporate services, operations, SAP, and data warehousing. These applications include legacy mainframe, client/server, Web, SAP, and proprietary packages. Outsourcing group Keane say that it is focused on improving both the cost and effectiveness of IT applications without sacrificing the critical support that is required by the business, says David Baumann, vice president, Information Systems at the Miller Brewing Company. 'Proven by our seven-year partnership, we know that Keane will deliver further improvements to the quality and efficiency of our business applications to meet the needs of our customers, distributors, and business users alike,' Milwaukee-based Miller Brewing Company is the American subsidiary of SABMiller, the world's second-largest brewer. It owns drinks brands include Miller Lite, Miller Genuine Draft and Miller High Life. The company also imports Pilsner Urquell and Fosters for the US market. |
