The all new tablet PC is a handheld computer with a full screen and PC functionality.  It features embedded communications including integrated Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G/GPRS and high sensitivity GPS, with antennas embedded in the housing to ensure no possible damage.

The JLT8404 features an 8.4” sunlight viewable touch-screen and function keys to provide the user with maximum ease of operation and reliability.  The hot swappable battery allows ‘extended periods of operation’ and a choice of rugged hard disk or flash disk provide extra data storage.   The package is sealed to IP65, rated from -20C to +50C and tested for multiple drops from 1.2m.

Also available is a secure, lockable docking station with additional connectivity for vehicle integration, which further extends functionality.

The JLT range can be configured for any application and environment with a full range of accessories including mounting systems and keyboards and, in common with all JLT computers, has many options to optimise the configuration for user requirements.
