Motorola and EDS have announced they are partnering to deliver a new managed enterprise mobility service. The two companies are using Motorola's MOTOPro innovation platform to run EDS' Extended Connected Office (ECO) for the development of a mobile platform with email, voice and data applications. Most enterprise professionals buy their own wireless devices, which places a major strain on enterprise IT departments accordong to Michael Tatelman, vice president and general manager, Motorola's MOTOPro Product Group. 'We'll be providing a fully managed, Windows-based solution that meets the demands for secure mobile access to a range of essential corporate applications and content,' he explained. |
