Real-time tracking software firm, SupportSoft, has announced the unveiling of the company's new Digital 360 vision for triple play service. According to the company, the idea behind Digital 360 is to explore the ability for service providers to have one view of both the last network mile and customer premises' equipment, combined with one set of IP-based service automation tools to manage, diagnose and resolve customer problems. Whether VoIP, video or broadband-related, 360 will, SupportSoft say, provide a framework to give customers, field technicians and call centre personnel a way to pinpoint problems and understand interdependencies between the network and premises related issues, and choose the best means to resolve issues once identified. By developing new standards and embracing new applications, the company is tailoring DSL to meet the needs of the next generation of multi-media services and the online community, to drive the technology's adoption around the world, a company spokesperson told SM365. |
