Rebranding follows record profits for facilities management operation

Fit-out to facilities management firm Modus Group has launched a colourful new brand to place greater emphasis on the firm’s name and better reflect the wide range of services it offers.

The move comes in the wake its announcement of record financial results for the first six months of 2008. The new logo includes the Modus strapline ‘create and support’ and incorporates four coloured dots to represent the firm’s four core divisions.

Toby Benzecry, Modus CEO said: ‘Following last year’s management buy-out, we have been developing both the services we offer and the way we communicate with our various stakeholders. The new identity reflects these important aspects of our growth as a business.

‘It is already an integral part of who we are and will be rolled out across the business from our marketing materials through to our site signage, vehicles and clothing.’

Modus Group is a multi-disciplinary design, fit-out, and facilities management specialist. It is comprised of four trading divisions:

  • Modus Workspace, offering design and build solutions for office occupiers;
  • Modus Projects, providing construction services for building refurbishment and large scale fit outs;
  • Modus Unitech, offering design and construction of technical environments, such as laboratories and data centres;
  • Modus FM, supplying maintenance to full facilities management.

It supplies services to high profile clients, including Fujitsu, Regus, Imperial College, Institute of Cancer Research, Johnson & Johnson, UCB Celltech, and Shurgard.

The business was started in 1992 by Toby Benzecry and Ashley Davies and is based in London SW1. The company currently employs over 200 people and turns over £95m per annum.

It has been featured in the Deloitte & Touche Indy 100 list of fastest growing UK companies five years in a row. The founders were finalists in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2002 and the company was included in the Sunday Times Profit Track 100 in 2003 and 2008.
