Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) developer, Scala Business Solutions, has announced the first service release of the latest version of the iScala Collaborative ERP system. The new system is said to contain a wide range of new functionality, such as improved connectivity with other warehouse and manufacturing systems and availability in two additional languages, Korean and traditional Chinese. This latest version of iScala was released last September and the company claims that it is the fastest selling release in Scala's 25-year history. The company has also modified its iScala CRM offering to give visibility into sales activities, and to improve the quality of leads and closure rates and be able to fully integrate with Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office programs. Powered by Microsoft CRM, iScala CRM now comes with standard reports on an Outlook type interface. Patrick Pando, senior vice president for sales & marketing at Scala comments boasts that features like the single order-entry screen help customers speed up their sales operations and share live data across their back and front end applications. 'Coupled with the speedy implementation process and ability to grow with the business, iScala should be at the top of the list for any mid-market company who are looking for an Enterprise Resource Planning system,' he added.
