Running as a single solution, the companies are promising customers the ability to identify parts from exploded diagrams using PartsArena, then order them remotely using a portable device from their own stock using Taskmaster. ‘PartsArena was designed to work with CRM (customer relationship management) and service management systems,’ said Infomill's software director Adrian King. ‘Because of the flexibility of both our and TBS' systems, the technical side of the integration has been a smooth process.’ PartsArena allows engineers to carry around a library of manuals on an electronic storage device around 50,000 pages of parts diagrams, service manuals, installation instructions and safety bulletins can fit on a Pocket PC device. |
