As well as being able to do all the normal Class I and Class II required electrical safety tests and having a long life battery, the device incorporates the wireless transmission technology of Bluetooth. This means the bar code scanners, label printers et al can be plugged into one corner of the room and left there while the engineer carries out the tests and send the data to the device remotely. Seaward has made the device easy to operate with 'an intuitive and fast user interface' Other features include fast start up, a white backlit graphics display and a full alphanumeric keypad which incorporates programmable soft keys for customised test routines. Seaward says the PrimeTest 300's internal memory is big enough to store test results for safety audit and traceability purposes as well as other details and descriptions of the tested equipment under test. |
