Business service management (BSM) designer, Euclid, has announced a new addition to its Service Management Suite, the Adapter Wizard. The adapter is said to allow uses its adaptor library to build new translators for proprietary data sources. Created as an enhancement to the company's Business Information Broker, one of the three components that comprise its platform, Euclid claims that its new adapter accelerates integration between customers' existing management tools and processes and the Business Service Management Suite. Many find the endeavour of business-IT alignment a daunting task,a big reason being lengthy implementation cycles, says Patty Azzarello, the president and CEO of Euclid. 'Our business process consulting services provide a clear and specific framework for our software implementation which includes business and IT service templates, out-of-the box dashboards, and pre-defined reports. The Adapter Wizard augments our ability to deliver value quickly to customers,' she added.
