StayinFront CRM Mobile 9.3 deploys applications in an engineer’s Microsoft Windows 2005 device including field force automation, customer management, order entry, electronic signature capture and sample tracking. Tony Bullen, chief technology officer for StayinFront, said: ‘Through our aggressive R&D efforts, we have designed StayinFront CRM Mobile 9.3 to give companies fast and cost-effective workforce productivity. This product has very efficient synchronisation capabilities, which are key in wireless deployments. We have also enhanced the user interface and improved the configurability to ensure mobile user always have easy-to-access business-critical information at their fingertips.’ The user interface has been enhanced and is task driven and pen optimised. The company claims the application is fast, easy to use and supports each company's specific requirements. A spokesman added that the system has been designed to use ‘multiple synchronisation’ technologies including always-on trickle-mode, where ‘changes are automatically synchronised soon after they are made to the PDA on a continuous basis throughout the day; timed, which allows for automated synchronisations at pre-determined times throughout the day; and hard connected, using standard phone lines or high-speed internet connections’.
