Corizon, the CRM software producer, has just signed a new deal with Telewest Broadband, to help the internet provider improve customer service in its call centre network. Known as the UPM Platform, the software will be deployed to customer care representatives to work across relevant IT applications when responding to customer queries and is intended to improve overall levels of service. The company says that their software platform streamlines customer advisers' work by enabling them to access multiple applications from one composite user interface matched to their role and tasks. The interface is created by re-using and re-combining existing interface functionality, so Telewest should theoretically be able to realise benefits from the system quickly without significant retraining, according to a Corizon spokesperson. The broadband internet provider plans to go live with projects based on the Corizon platform at a number of customer care centres later this year according to Steve Stewart, customer care director at Telewest. 'Businesses not only need quality products to be at the top, they also have to deliver excellent customer care. This technology will translate into better service for our customers and we are confident that the relationship we have established with Corizon will be a fruitful one,' he told SM365. |
