BT Indirect Channels cashes in on CRM The indirect sales arm of BT is hoping to cash in on the growing demand for customer relationship applications, as it develops into a fully-fledged ICT subsidiary of the main business. As part of the growth BT Indirect Channels is looking for 12 new reseller partners for its contact centre software. 'We hope to put £5m of business through the channel in 2004, which will represent growth of over 100 per cent,' said Chris Jagusz, general manager of chapter management at BTIC. NI pensioners get Chordiant The social security department of Northern Ireland has bought in Chordiant 5, a CRM product, to help it run a call centre for pension credits, produced by the company of the same name. The intention is to provide the Pension Credit Call Centre agents with a complete, real-time view of the entire customer relationship. Chordiant's solutions are renowned for their resilience and flexibility according to Allen Swann, president of worldwide field operations at Chordiant. 'Our contract with the NI Social Security agency further cements our position as a key provider of solutions for business process automation and effective customer service,' he added. Advanced email for Onyx American Enterprise application developers Onyx software has announced the release of v5 of its CRM software. The new release is said to have improved email management that facilitates the sending, tracking and management of customer-related email communications within the CRM system. |
